Meet Cameron, an M1 student at Florida International University

In addition to classroom learning, Cameron pointed out the importance that his medical school places on hands-on practice opportunities.The medical students are placed with a primary care office and asked to complete clinical hours there during their 4 years.At the offices their tasks include taking patient histories and conducting physical exams under the guidance of physicians. This practical experience is invaluable for building clinical skills and confidence, which are vital for a future healthcare professional.
